clinical Trials Register for studies conducted in one or several EU Member States.

Online Clinical trials EU Register launched

The European Medicines Agency has launched the online Clinical Trials register. This register contains information about clinical trials that have been authorised in the EU which may take place in either one or several Member States. The information includes trials conducted by industry and research institutions.

The aim of this register is to make pharmaceutical research more transparent for the participants and patients and to avoid duplication of clinical trials

Sponsors will provide and update information on this register through MHRA in the UK
