Are you visiting the United Kingdom?
Have you been living outside the UK for more than three months?
Did you know that you may have to pay for hospital treatment whilst here?
The National Health Service (NHS) provides free hospital treatment for people who live in the United Kingdom. However if you do not usually live in the UK or you have been living outside the UK for more than three months you may have to pay for your treatment.
As a patient you will be asked to provide evidence to show that you live here permanently.
Please do not be offended if we ask you questions about your living arrangements.
