Media enquiries
The press office is responsible for media relations on behalf of The North West London Hospitals NHS Trust which includes Northwick Park and St Mark’s Hospital in Harrow and Central Middlesex Hospital in Park Royal.
The media and communications office is based at Northwick Park Hospital.

During office hours all media enquiries or requests for interviews with staff should be directed to the press office on 020 8869 2421 or by emailing sarah.mckellar@nhs.net
Out-of-hours and weekends
Outside office hours, the on-call Press Officer will deal with enquiries from journalists. Please call pager 07659 125409.
Condition checks
Patient condition checks should be referred to the Press Office during office hours on 020 8869 3701 or via the pager on 07659 125409 out of hours. Please note that the Press Office first needs to seek consent from the patient or their relative. Without consent, no patient information can be disclosed.
The only exception to this is where a patient or former patient, or those acting on his or her behalf, has already invited the media to report on his or her treatment. Where the resulting media coverage contains inaccuracies or unfair criticism, the Trust may comment about a patient in public, using factual information to correct misleading reporting.
