Working at the Trust

For more information on life at The North West London Hospitals NHS Trust, have a look at our magazine and annual report.

Where do you fit in?

Did you know there are over 300 different NHS careers – from radiographers and doctors to specialist nurses, caterers and accountants – and over a million people in the UK following them?

As a large Acute Trust, we can offer a huge range of jobs.  Many of these include working directly with  patients.  Other roles contribute to providing the best healthcare by offering valuable support across the organisation.

Whether you want to work in a caring job, or your skills are in another specialism such as finance, HR or administration, there are roles suited to you at our Trust.

Staff development

We are fully committed to investing in the knowledge and skills of employees and to the principle of lifelong learning for all.

We intend to provide learning, education and development opportunities for all staff groups.  We  actively encourage staff to build personal development plans and to focus their learning with the aim of advancing their career.

We have well established e-learning centres at both our sites and promote multidisciplinary learning in both clinical and classroom settings.

Improving working lives

The North West London Hospitals NHS Trust is recognised as being a good employer. The Improving Working Lives Standard means that the NHS is committed to delivering a range of flexible working practices.  By working to the Improving Working Lives Standard the Trust has made clear that every member of staff is entitled to more flexible, supportive and family-friendly working arrangements that will improve diversity, tackle discrimination and harassment, and help develop the skills of all staff to improve patient services.
