Breakthrough research on mortality rates makes headlines

Our introduction of treatment checklists to improve mortality rates at our hospitals has hit the headlines following the publication of the research by the British Medical Journal.
The checklists, known as care bundles, aimed to reduce the number of avoidable deaths and improve patient care. They resulted in a 15 per cent cut in patient deaths within a year.
